Tarlac State University is set to open its new Doctor of Medicine Program, marking a historic milestone in the university's continuing pursuit of excellence in higher education.
The program has been granted a Government Permit to Operate for the first and second year levels, effective Academic Year 2026–2027, by virtue of the Commission on Higher Education’s Commission en Banc (CEB) Resolution No. 595-2026.
This new program expands TSU's academic offerings, taking a significant step forward in providing quality, accessible, and future-ready medical education for aspiring physicians in the region and beyond.
Moreover, University President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza and College of Medicine Dean Dr. Janill I. Magano met with Dr. Jimmy G. Catanes, Director IV of the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), to discuss curriculum implementation strategies and ensure strict adherence to national standards for the upcoming academic year.
